The app hasn't picked up an update
CalCoach downloads most updates in the background and applies them the next time the app starts.
- Close the app fully by swiping it away from your recent apps.
- Open it again. If nothing has changed, close and reopen it once more, since the first launch may only download the update.
If the app shows Update required, tap Update now and install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Health data isn't syncing
- Go to Account → Health Data and check that sync with Apple Health or Health Connect is on.
- If you see a message about permissions, tap it to grant CalCoach access in Apple Health or the Health Connect app.
- Tap Sync Now and check the Last sync time.
If your tracker doesn't write steps to Apple Health or Health Connect, use Log steps from a screenshot on the same screen.
Cal isn't responding
- Check the top of the screen for No internet connection. While you're offline, one message per chat waits to send and goes once you're back online.
- Close and reopen the app.
Logs aren't showing
- Check the date at the top of the diary. Logs appear on the day they were logged for.
- Pull down on the diary to refresh it.
- If you use CalCoach on more than one phone, close and reopen the app on each one.
Contact us
- Feedback or a bug: tell Cal in chat that you'd like to leave feedback. Cal drafts a note for the CalCoach team that you can edit, and nothing is sent until you tap Send.
- Support: Account → Support opens an email to support@calcoach.com. Include your app version, which is shown on the debug screen.
Send diagnostics
The debug screen shows your app version, build and update details, which help our team find a problem. To open it, tap your username on the Account screen 12 times. Take a screenshot and attach it to your email to support.
