A habit is something you want to do regularly, such as "Drink 8 glasses of water" or "10k steps per day".

Create a habit

With Cal. In the Chat tab, ask "Suggest some habits for me" or say what you want to track: "Add a habit to stretch every morning". Cal creates the habit for you.

Yourself. Go to Account → Daily Targets, then Add under Habits. Enter the habit, then set:

  • Times per day, from 1 to 5
  • Days per week, by switching individual days on or off

Tap Add to save. Instead of filling in the fields, you can describe the habit in the box at the bottom of the screen.

To change or remove a habit, tap the menu beside it in the same list and choose Edit or Delete, or ask Cal.

If you have a coach, they can add habits for you too.

Tick off a habit

Your habits for the day appear in the Habits section of the Diary. Each habit has one circle per time it is due that day. Tap the habit to fill the next circle. Once every circle is filled, a further tap removes the latest one, so you can undo a mistaken tap. To tick off a past day, change the date at the top of the Diary first.

You can also tell Cal: "I've done my steps today". Cal can log a habit for an earlier day if you name it.

Ticking habits needs an internet connection.

See your progress

Ask Cal "Show my progress for one of my habits". Cal shows a grid of the last 28 days, marking each scheduled day as done or not done. Days the habit is not scheduled are marked separately, so they do not count as missed.

Habits and your streak

The streak on your Account card counts days in a row that you logged food. Habits do not change it.

Habits count towards Weekly consistency, the bar under the dials in the Chat tab. Tap it to see the points for completing your habits alongside logging meals, exercise and weighing in. If you have no habits set up, that part is greyed out rather than counted as missed.
