Challenges give your clients points for logging and hitting targets. Find them under Challenges on the icon rail.
Create a challenge
Select New, then follow the steps.
- Activities: pick what earns points. The options are Tracking, Exercise, All Habits, Protein, Weight logging and Steps (with a Daily step target). Choose a Daily or Weekly scoring period and set the points for each.
- Who can join: Private (only people you invite) or Organisation (anyone in your organisation).
- Dates: the start and end dates, and whether it repeats Weekly, Monthly or Every 4 weeks. A repeating challenge can run with no end date.
- Sprints (optional, one-off challenges with an end date): a stretch where chosen activities are worth more.
- Participants: optionally Ask participants for a personal goal, which is saved to their notes so their coach can see it, and Enable tracks, where each participant chooses Lean, Power or Athlete.
- Teams (optional): turn on Team challenge and add named, coloured teams.
- Details: a Challenge name, a photo, a description and a More info URL.
Invite people
After creating it, choose clients in Invite Members and select Send invite, or Skip for now. You can invite more later from Manage → Invite Members. If your organisation has Auto-add new members turned on, new members join active organisation challenges automatically.
Participants see the challenge in the CalCoach app.
Follow the challenge
Each challenge has three tabs.
- Chat: announcements and conversation with everyone taking part.
- Leaderboard: points by Individual or Teams. Expand a person to see their score breakdown, Filter by date, or Share leaderboard as an image. For team challenges, move members between teams or use Auto-balance.
- Manage: Edit challenge, Invite Members, Award points for things the app cannot track (use a negative number to deduct), and Delete challenge.
Deleting a challenge removes it for everyone taking part.
