Progress photos are in Early Access (Account → Early Access). Once you turn them on, a Photos tab appears in Account → Body Metrics.

Add photos with a weigh-in

Photos are attached to a weight entry, so they line up with your weight on that day.

  1. In Account → Body Metrics → Photos, tap Add. You can also start from Add Weight.
  2. Enter your weight as usual.
  3. Under Progress photos (optional), tap the Front, Side or Back slot.
  4. Choose Take Photo or Choose from Library. The camera has a timer, so you can prop your phone up and step back.
  5. Tap Add to save the weigh-in and its photos.

You can also send a physique photo to Cal in chat and ask to keep it with your progress photos. Cal links it to that day's weigh-in.

Compare two days

On the Photos tab, tap Compare. Pick any two days that have a photo of the same pose to see them side by side as Before and After. To share the comparison, tap Share. Turn on Hide weight change to leave the figures off the shared image. You can also ask Cal for a before and after.

Make a timelapse

  1. On the Photos tab, tap Timelapse video.
  2. Pick a pose. You need photos of that pose from at least three different days.
  3. Turn on Show weight to caption each day with that day's weigh-in.
  4. Tap Create timelapse. It usually takes under a minute.
  5. Tap Share to save or send the video.

Only you can make and see your timelapses. The video is available to download for seven days, and you can create a new one at any time.

Who can see your photos

  • You and your coach can see your progress photos.
  • Friends, followers and accountability partners never can.
  • Photos are stored encrypted, and every link used to view one expires after an hour.
  • Deleting a photo removes it from storage straight away. Open the photo and tap its delete button.

A PDF report includes progress photos only when the person asking for the report explicitly asks for them. Otherwise they are left out.
