CalCoach is available in three languages:
- English
- Español (Spanish)
- Français (French)
How the language is chosen
By default the app uses Automatic, which follows your phone's language. If your phone is set to a language CalCoach doesn't support yet, the app shows English.
Choose a language yourself
- Go to Account → Language.
- Tap the language you want. The app switches immediately.
- To go back to following your phone, tap Automatic.
Each language is listed in its own name, so you can find yours even if the app is currently showing a language you don't read.
Your choice is saved on this phone. If you use CalCoach on another device, set it there too.
What changes
- Menus, buttons and messages in the app.
- Cal's replies in chat, and spoken replies, use your language.
- Notifications we send you use your language.
Food names from the product database are shown as they're stored, which is usually the language printed on the pack.
Spot a translation problem?
When the app is in a language other than English, Account → Report a Translation opens an email to our support team with your language and app version already filled in. Tell us which screen it was on, the text as shown and what it should say.
