There are three ways to change a log: ask Cal, swipe the card in chat, or edit it yourself.

Ask Cal

Tell Cal what is wrong in plain words:

  • "I had 2 not 1" or "make that 300g" scales the whole log exactly.
  • "the rice was 100g" changes one ingredient and leaves the rest.
  • "swap the white bread for wholemeal" removes one ingredient and adds another.
  • "that was only 220 kcal" or "it had 30g protein" sets the numbers you give.
  • "move that to yesterday" moves the log to another day. It keeps all its ingredients.

Swipe to adjust

In chat, swipe a log card to the right. It is quoted above the message box with "Adjusting:". Describe the change and send.

Edit it yourself

  1. Tap Adjust on the log card, in chat or in the Diary.
  2. The Edit log screen opens. Use − and + to change the number of servings, or type an amount.
  3. To change individual items, tap Edit ingredients. You can change each quantity, remove an item with the bin icon, or search to add one. For a log with no ingredient list, tap Edit macros to change the totals.
  4. Tap Save changes.

You can change the meal type by tapping it on the card. See Meal types.

Delete a log

Open the ⋮ menu on the log card and tap Remove log. If you ask Cal to delete a log, Cal checks with you before removing it.

Your corrections stick

Numbers you give are stored as you stated them. They are not looked up again or replaced by database values. If you later change the amount, your numbers scale with it.

Log the same thing again

The ⋮ menu has Log another on today's logs and Log today on logs from other days. Either one adds a copy for today.
