When a client accepts your coaching invitation, you can view and change their data. Everything you change is saved to the client's own account, so it appears in their app straight away.
On the client's page
Goals tab
- Nutrition goals: set Calories and macros in grams or as percentages. Percentages must total 100%.
- Recalculate goals: work out new targets from their weight, target weight, Primary goal, Plan speed, activity level, workouts per week and personal details. Check the Projected daily target, then select Apply goals.
- Habits: Add habit, choosing the days and how many times per day. Edit or delete habits from their menu.
- Notes: Add note for anything you want to remember about the client.
- Options: Show net calories subtracts exercise calories from the client's daily totals, and Show goal progress shows their remaining calories and protein.
Profile tab
- Body Metrics: add, edit or delete Weight, Body Fat and Skeletal Muscle entries. Body fat can be entered as a percentage, a fat mass or caliper skinfold readings. Photos shows the client's progress photos, which only they can add.
- Nutritional Preferences: dietary restrictions, allergens, foods to avoid, cuisines, meals per day and notes. Changes save as you go.
- Meal Plans: see Meal plans for clients.
Food and exercise logs
The Diary tab is read-only. To add, change or remove a food or exercise log, ask Cal from the client's page, for example "Log a banana for Sam's breakfast yesterday" or "Delete Sam's duplicate lunch". Cal shows Logged for and the client's name on anything it logs for them.
In the app, the same changes are available through Ask Cal, and Daily Targets from the client's menu covers goals, habits and notes.
Will the client know?
The client sees the updated values next time they open the app. CalCoach does not send them a notification about the change.
