A promo code either changes the prices you're offered or unlocks CalCoach for free. You enter it on the subscription screen before you pay.
Redeem a code in the app
- When the subscription screen appears, tap Got a promo code?
- Type your code and tap Apply code.
- What happens next depends on the code:
- An offer code switches the plans on screen to the special prices, and you'll see Promo code applied. Choose a plan and subscribe as usual.
- An access code unlocks the app straight away, with nothing to pay.
If you leave the subscription screen before subscribing, enter an offer code again when you come back.
Codes for coaches and gyms
Coach and gym plans are bought on the web, so coach codes usually arrive as a pricing link. Open the link and the pricing page shows Promo code applied. If the code is no longer valid, the page says so and shows standard pricing instead.
Why a code doesn't work
- "That code isn't valid." Check the spelling. Codes can also expire or be withdrawn.
- "This code can only be used on an account that has never had a subscription." Access codes are for new accounts only.
- Codes are issued either for the app or for the web. A code meant for coach pricing on the web won't work in the app, and the other way round.
